About the Role
We are seeking our first Internal IT and Security Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have been leading and managing security controls and internal IT equipment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment (ideally SaaS or Security products). In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams across the business to provide essential support and maintain the efficiency of our IT systems and security measures. What you’ll be doing
1. Provide first-level technical support to all inforcer team members as well as acting as an escalation point for more advanced security topics
2. Set up and configure business equipment, laptops and access to essential business tools and licenses
3. Responsible for managing our IT and cybersecurity infrastructure and ensuring smooth operations across all systems and processes
4. Maintain IT security baselines, including conditional access and compliance policies
5. Monitor and act upon cybersecurity risks, implementing measures such as ISO27001, SOC2 & Cyber Essentials
6. Support the business through different stages of scale and growth to ensure the utmost security and effective processes
7. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
8. Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation, processes and procedures
9. Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure seamless integration of systems
10. Conduct user training sessions to enhance IT literacy
11. Support in the management and deployment of software updates and patches
12. Participate in IT projects and contribute to the development of IT strategies
13. Stay current with the latest IT trends and technologies

Skills We Need for This Role
1. Relevant experience as an IT Security Manager, ideally within a high growth environment or start-up
2. Advanced knowledge of setting up and maintaining business equipment
3. Strong understanding of IT procurement, budgeting, and vendor management
4. Previous experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
5. Certification in IT and cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, or SOC 2
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
