Successful candidates will need to attend a 2 week induction, which will include a week of foundation training and a week of shadow shifts.
Salary : £37,000 per annum (full-time)
With a great incentive scheme for permanent employees, double time for shifts worked, plus an incentive payment of £250 for every eight shifts worked in an 8-week roster period, or £125 for every 4 shifts worked in an 8-week roster period.
Experience : 2 years' minimum experience required
Work Schedule : 2Night shifts on 6 days off work pattern that allows you to plan your personal life and rest with ease.

Main duties of the job
1. To undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and offer care to persons detained by the police or other agencies as required - to assess fitness for detention, interview, release or transfer.
2. To provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illness or injury and take appropriate actions and refer onwards for more serious conditions.
3. To undertake forensic examination of persons in police care - to record and if appropriate give opinion of cause of injuries and or collect DNA evidence
4. To undertake forensic examination of police officers and staff injured whilst on duty - to record and if appropriate give opinion of cause of injuries and manage these appropriately
5. To collect specimens as required under legislation
6. To provide written statements as required
7. Following the relevant training, attend any Court or Tribunal as required
8. To make and maintain complete and accurate clinical records
9. To assess alcohol and drug intoxication and withdrawal
10. Identify vulnerabilities and safeguarding pathways
11. To support the clinical governance agenda of the organisation
12. Administer medications through patient group directions and Patient treatment protocol
