Job summary We are currently recruiting for 2 x HCSW positions (1 position being male only). We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated person with experience of working with people with learning disabilities, mental health issues and a forensic history.Previous experience in a similar area of work will be beneficial, with knowledge and experience of implementing positive behaviour support (PBS) with individuals who may present with complex Behaviours that challenge. Hafod Y Wennol is a 6 bed locked assessment and rehabilitation unit. The unit provides multi-disciplinary assessment, intervention and rehabilitation of individuals assessed as ready to step down from low secure and locked rehab environments. Individuals are supported to move to more independent living within their local area. The team comprises of a unit manager, two clinical leads, registered nurses and health care support workers. In addition to this the team will work alongside the newly created inpatient multi-disciplinary team including: a Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, a Behaviour Specialist, an Occupational Therapist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an activities co-ordinator, a communication development officer and is supported by a Clinical Lead Nurse and a Business Manager.
