Salary: £22,366 FTE (£8,524 pro rata) Working hours - 16.25 per week We are seeking to appoint 1 Catering Assistant to join us at the Stanground Academy on a permanent basis. The role: The successful applicant will provide support to the Catering Manager, ensuring that all catering services are of the highest possible standard. You will be required to prepare meals and provide a friendly and efficient service to all staff and pupils. Working as part of a dedicated catering team, you will need to demonstrate: Excellent hygiene and health & safety practices Good organisational ability First class communication skills Experience in preparing and serving food, with school kitchen knowledge being desirable The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate. Also holding a Level 2 Diploma in Kitchen Services and having knowledge of HACCP would be advantageous. Uniform and training will be provided.
