The Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine love for education, a proactive attitude, and the ability to inspire and support children. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality lessons to cover teacher absences and PPA time. Support teaching staff in the planning and preparation of lessons. Lead interventions and targeted group work to improve pupil outcomes. Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, where required. Assist in monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers. Contribute to the school’s positive behavior management strategies. Help maintain an inclusive and engaging learning environment. About You Essential: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience. Proven experience working within a primary school setting. Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and motivate pupils effectively. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Desirable: Experience supporting pupils with SEND. First Aid qualification.
