Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a highly organised and driven Partnerships & Events Manager to join our Commercial Department. This role is crucial in delivering great experiences to our partners, ensuring the smooth execution of events and activations, and identifying growth opportunities for the club. The successful candidate will play a central role in internal coordination and external relationship management across the club’s commercial activities. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Partner Relationship Management: Serve as the first point of contact for selected commercial partners, handling day-to-day requests and ensuring exceptional service delivery that reflects the club's values and standards. Partner Communications: Act as the lead on all partner communications—crafting engaging updates, delivering timely responses, and maintaining clear and consistent dialogue across key commercial accounts. Event Management: Support the planning and delivery of key commercial events such as networking breakfasts, sponsor forums, kit launches, and other stakeholder engagement initiatives. Matchday Coordination: Take the lead in booking and coordinating all elements of the matchday commercial experience, including hospitality, partner activations, and VIP arrangements. New Business Prospecting: Identify and research potential new sponsors and partners, creating pipelines of opportunities and supporting new business pitches and presentations. Commercial Operations Management: Oversee the Commercial Department’s calendar, team task lists, and internal communications to ensure seamless daily operations and alignment across functions. Contract Fulfilment & CRM Oversight: Support the execution of all contractual obligations—including branding, digital activations, hospitality, and community engagement—and maintain accurate records in the CRM system. Requirements • Proven experience in a commercial, partnerships, or events role, ideally within sport, entertainment, or a related industry. • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. • A customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Experience using CRM systems is highly desirable. • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and matchdays. You will need to have the Right to Work in the UK or be able to obtain this by the start date. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Benefits This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week over 5 days. This will include working some evenings and weekends, particularly during the Cricket season. The salary for this role is circa £32,000 per annum.
