Company Overview:
A global manufacturing business based in Caerphilly County is looking to take on a maintenance engineer. This position is well-suited to a multiskilled maintenance engineer with experience working on CNC Machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to join a worldwide manufacturer that supplies its fabricated products to a variety of industries, primarily the automotive industry, where they have won a series of new contracts with household names.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Conduct planned preventative maintenance including scheduling.
2. Carry out building and site maintenance.
3. Provide input into the specification of new manufacturing equipment to ensure robust design.
4. Install production equipment including electrical and pneumatic services as required.
5. Support and participate in continuous improvement activities.
6. Work on pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, motors, PLCs, gearboxes, bearings, and fans.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Multiskilled background working within a fast-paced maintenance department.
2. CNC experience is beneficial.
3. A previous time-served apprenticeship within a related industry.
