Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Commercial Team to be part of our front of house reception here at UHS. This is a very challenging and vital role to the trust as you can be the first person that a visitor/patient/other staff member will meet when they arrive at the hospital, providing a welcoming, friendly approach at all times.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Interested candidates should preferably have administrative experience in the NHS, social services, or healthcare background. Good communication skills, the ability to organise your own workload, use your own initiative, maintain confidentiality, and flexible working are the key requirements. The ability to work as part of a team as well as with patients and the public is also highly essential.

Qualifications
* Good standard of education with literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE pass level 4-9 or equivalent standard
* NVQ 2 diploma or equivalent experience
* Courses/further study attended to demonstrate evidence of personal development
Knowledge and experience
* Experience of working in a customer-led environment
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages
* Evidence of computer literacy
* Proficient in the use of hospital computerised patient systems
* Experience of working shifts
