We're looking for a strategic and results-oriented leader to help guide our team in cultivating new markets and fostering long-term partnerships with key hospitality players.
Key Responsibilities:
In your role as Business Development Manager, you will:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy, driving revenue growth and brand recognition for Bermar in the global hospitality sector.
* Oversee and manage a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, nurturing talent, and ensuring all team members achieve their goals.
* Identify and capitalise on international growth opportunities through market analysis and strategic planning, tailoring Bermar's solutions to diverse markets.
* Cultivate and manage key accounts, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and exceeding client expectations.
* Represent Bermar at industry events, conferences, and meetings, establishing thought leadership and forging strategic partnerships.
* Analyse market trends and data to develop targeted sales strategies and translate them into actionable plans for the team.
* Deliver regular reports to senior management, showcasing team performance, exceeding sales targets, and outlining future growth initiatives.
Skills required:
1. Proven expertise in B2B sales or account management.
2. Hospitality industry experience; WSET Level 2 or equivalent education is an asset.
3. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills; adept in written and verbal communication.
4. Proficient in influencing stakeholders at all organisational levels.
5. Highly motivated, ambitious, and determined individual.
6. Strong self-management and prioritisation abilities.
7. Experience managing multiple projects with sharp attention to detail.
8. Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
