LOCATION
This role will be based in our London (Soho) office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Consumer Insight Analyst is a key member of the ghd Global Marketing team and is responsible for supporting and empowering the business with insights to aid in the development of the latest innovation and strategic launches.
The Consumer Insight Analyst reports directly into the Global Head of Insights and will be expected to support in the design, development, organisation and delivery of ghd’s global insights activity. It is critical the role supports in establishing a better understanding of the organisation’s external market and consumer context to inform decision making.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the Head of Insights in the organisation and execution of all consumer research.
* Aid in the design and implementation of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies and research.
* To undertake all and any data and market analysis (GFK, NPD) required within the insights team.
* Own purchase orders and invoicing for the Insights team and ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner.
* Maintain and grow the internal insights library to maximise our existing consumer data and insight and grow its visibility and use across the business.
* Manage our self-service research platform to continually track consumer sentiment on key projects, including scripting, fielding and analysing ad-hoc research.
* Be integral in creating and delivering regular presentations to the management team and markets (inc. CEO, CMO, Managing Directors), to make strategic recommendations rooted in strong insight.

REQUIREMENTS
* 1-2 years’ experience in an insights/research role.
* Strong academic background.
* Confidence analysing large data sets in excel and presenting clear findings.
* Experience with both qualitative and quantitative market research.
* Strong organisational skills, to manage priorities and numerous projects.
* High level of rigor, analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
* Comfortable presenting and public speaking.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
* Strong math’s or statistics educational results.
* Experience in consumer electronics or hair care would be advantageous.
