We’re seeking a HR Consultant to join our team. As a HR Consultant for GCIO and GCOO, you will work closely with key stakeholders including:
1. Business leaders, Heads of HR – E.g. for planning strategic people priorities
2. CoEs and capability centres – E.g. for designing programs and projects
3. HRBPs – For ensuring local level diagnosis, execution and implementation
Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

In this role you will:
1. Establish and review key strategic HR priorities and translate them into actionable and measurable plans for end-to-end implementation. Lead transformational/strategic initiatives including enable adoption/implementation, as relevant.
2. Own and manage complex portfolios of work along with planning and execution activities for the function/business ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery by building and directing workplans, timelines and budgets. Ensuring timely delivery and monitoring/reporting.
3. Design controls for managing and monitoring scope issues, schedule over-runs, risks, and inter-dependencies for effectively managing program delivery.
4. Develop key relationships and manage stakeholders including ExCo members, People Committees, Heads of HR, HRBPs, HR CoEs, and business leaders.
5. Partner with key stakeholders for defining, executing and measuring the effectiveness of people plans while also acting as an advisor to Heads of HR, HRBPs and senior business. Support key stakeholders to cascade people strategy and actionable people outcomes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
1. Extensive HR experience, e.g. a good grasp of employee relations. Experience across multiple disciplines within HR would be beneficial.
2. Previous analytical experience with the ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives.
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to understand complex situations and provide clear guidance and, where necessary, challenge to others.
4. Previous internal or external consulting experience would be desirable.
This role is based in Birmingham or Sheffield on a Hybrid basis.
