Broadfield Community Primary School is a thriving, diverse and welcoming school. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our Early Years team. Candidates will need to demonstrate that they are dedicated to providing our youngest children with high quality support.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Can deliver high quality teaching and learning in EYFS
2. Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment
3. Can deliver specific support to raise the attainment of under-performing children and groups
4. Can confidently cover a whole class on an occasional, short-term basis
5. Can enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
6. Is committed to high standards and able to assist in planning, preparation and delivery of lessons
7. Can work independently to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions
8. Can keep detailed notes on progress and attainment
9. Is able to work effectively as part of a team
10. Has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and staff
11. Will be willing to contribute to the broader life of our school community.
