Blackfield Associates is partnered with a leading Global Consumer goods organisation based in Kent in the search for a Quality Lead (EMEA) on a 40 hour, 12 month contract.
As the GMG Quality Lead, you will play a key role in managing quality systems and ensuring compliance across the Europe and Africa regions. This includes ensuring adherence to global regulatory standards such as MDD/MDR, ISO13485, and MHRA requirements. You will drive the quality strategy for new product launches, manage quality oversight, and champion compliance to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Lead quality and compliance activities across business operations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and international regulatory standards.
* Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Europe and Africa regions, including conducting audits, investigating product complaints, and implementing corrective actions.
* Collaborate with key teams such as R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial to develop and execute quality plans for product launches and updates.
* Analyse and monitor quality metrics to assess the effectiveness of the QMS, driving continuous improvement and ensuring full compliance with global standards.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Engineering, Quality, or Science, with at extensive experience in technical quality roles within the consumer products or medical device sectors. They will have a strong understanding of MDD/MDR, ISO13485, and MHRA requirements, with proven experience in quality systems and risk management. Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and audit management skills are essential, alongside the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams and regions.
