Job Description
In our purpose-built Electronics facility, we have the tools required to develop new technologies, deliver exciting research projects and above all support our dynamic team of Engineers, ensuring that they flourish and realise their goals and targets. We are looking for a passionate Electronics Production Control Manager to join our team at Red Bull Technology Group.
This role is required to support the management and technical performance of the Workflow/Production Control team within the Electronics Group. The role will analyse demand from both the Chassis and Powertrains EPM team and give clear direction to the workflow/controllers, ensuring that all projects are adhered to and completed to plan. This role will work closely with the EPM representatives from each side of the business to advise on impact to project delivery and escalating where relevant when unsolvable capacity clashes occur.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Supported by the Electronics workflow/controllers, you will ensure that both our manufacturing and Test and Inspection areas are supported, ensuring projects are adhered to and completed to plan.
2. Work with the Electronics Projects/Design/Procurement team to define/support future event project strategies between engineering/design and supply chain, impacting event quantity decisions and make vs buy strategy.
3. Manage the KPIs for the Electronics workflow/planning team, ensuring targets are met, problem solving carried out where necessary and continuous improvements put in place.
4. Ensure our ERP business system is kept live and accurate for all parts and assemblies.
What we’re looking for:
1. Demonstrable experience within Motorsport Electronics Production would be advantageous.
2. Previous experience using computer-based workflow and planning tools is a requirement.
3. The ability to manage fast moving projects, with multiple inputs and changing deadlines.
4. A solid grasp with performance metric generation and reporting.
5. A background in managing improvements based on these metrics.
