The Role / Responsibilities:
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the team to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications. Ensure best practices, adopt new technologies, and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Leadership: Guide the team, make architectural decisions, and collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers.
* Code Quality: Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement automated testing.
* Innovation: Stay updated with trends, improve processes, and integrate new tools.
* Project Management: Plan and manage projects, delegate tasks, and monitor progress.
* Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, communicate with stakeholders, and contribute to product strategy.
* User Experience: Ensure interfaces are intuitive, responsive, and accessible, working closely with UX/UI designers.
Qualifications:
* 3-5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced software development environment.
* Preferable, but not mandatory: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
* Ability to develop software in TypeScript, Python, Rust, or other programming languages.
* Extensive experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of enterprise web applications.
* Ability to design maintainable APIs.
* Experience with Databases desirable.
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
* Experience building web applications in TypeScript with Node.js.
* Strong understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
* Adept at communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
* Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
* Experience building and deploying UI applications in cloud-native environments: GCP, AWS, Azure, CloudFlare etc.
