Our team is looking for a skilled Project Coordinator - Cost Estimation Specialist to join our ranks. This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for new contracts, contract variations, and re-tenders related to Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
* Asset Scheduling: Assist with the creation of asset schedules and proposal documentation.
* Pricing Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely and accurate pricing.
* Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys independently or alongside colleagues to ensure precise contract estimations.
* Supplier Management: Secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
* Tender Evaluation: Review and evaluate technical and commercial aspects of tenders, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.
* Contract Handover: Support the handover of new or renewed contracts to the operations team.
* Customer Liaison: Provide excellent customer service by liaising directly with clients as needed.
Requirements:
* Technical Expertise: Strong technical and commercial expertise.
* Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* IT Proficiency: IT proficiency, particularly in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
