The Role:
The Executive Principal will be responsible for:
* Providing strategic leadership and vision to drive improvement and maintain the school’s high standards.
* Overseeing the implementation of the school’s curriculum, ensuring a broad, balanced, and inclusive approach.
* Leading and inspiring the senior leadership team, staff, and students to foster a culture of excellence and continuous development.
* Ensuring the school meets all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
* Developing strong relationships with the local community, parents, and external partners.
* Managing budgets effectively to ensure sustainable growth and development.
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant leadership qualification (e.g., NPQH, NPQEL, or equivalent).
* Have a proven track record of successful senior leadership experience in a secondary school setting.
* Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Possess strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire all stakeholders.
* Exhibit a deep understanding of current educational policies, curriculum developments, and safeguarding practices.
* Be committed to promoting a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and high aspirations.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience of leading across multiple settings or within a multi-academy trust.
* Demonstrated success in driving school improvement and raising attainment.
