Job summary We are looking for an experienced HCA to join our wonderful, supportive and friendly team. We are hoping to find an HCA with experience of working in a GP surgery. We can supplement that experience with some further training but would love someone who can hit the ground running with many of the skills required. The role includes the main elements of phlebotomy, diabetic work ups, vaccinations, wound care, ear syringing, ECG. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: a. Undertake new patient health checks b. Support the Practice Nurse with health promotion programmes c. Carry out baseline observations such as pulse oximitery, blood pressure, temperature and pulse rate, recording findings accurately d.
