Pathway Group is looking for a dedicated and welcoming Receptionist to join our team at the Burslem SkillZone office in Staffordshire. This role is integral to supporting learners, partners, and colleagues by providing exceptional front-office service and maintaining a professional, organised, and welcoming environment. Your Responsibilities
1. Front-Desk Support: Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and greet visitors with a positive and professional approach.
2. File Audits & Registers: Audit files, email attendance registers weekly, and ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate.
3. Marketing & Centre Maintenance: Update marketing materials around the centre and help decorate the success window to celebrate learner achievements.
4. Tutor Support: Assist with printing, scanning, and other administrative tasks for tutors.
5. Inventory & Supplies: Track office supplies, cleaning products, and kitchen items; pre-order as needed to ensure the centre runs smoothly.
6. Mail & Meeting Support: Distribute incoming mail, take meeting minutes, prepare training rooms, and arrange refreshments.
7. Facility Coordination: Coordinate with cleaners and maintenance staff to ensure the centre is presentable and well-maintained.
8. Learner Engagement: Contact absent learners, support with inductions, and assist with learner surveys.
9. Event & Celebration Support: Help plan events, arrange catering, and contribute to the setup of learner celebrations.
What We’re Looking For
1. Previous Training Provider Experience: Previous experience or knowledge of training related funded is advantageous.
2. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey information effectively to various audiences.
3. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to handle sensitive issues diplomatically and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Problem-Solving Ability: Skilled at analysing complex problems and implementing workable solutions.
5. Organisational Skills: Able to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain flexibility.
6. Collaboration: Team-oriented, with a commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
