We are seeking an experienced Product Manager from the UK or any other European region to join our team as we develop cutting-edge AI-based Aerospace & Defense Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying investment cases, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to lead investment planning and evangelize the product vision.
As a Product Manager, you will drive product strategy and roadmap planning, considering market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback. You will collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize features and clarify investment themes. Additionally, you will define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and support data-driven decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aviation industry, with experience in MRO operations, having worked with an airline, MRO organization, or OEM. Familiarity with aviation software regulations and compliance is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills are crucial, as you will lead cross-functional teams and present updates to stakeholders.
In this Principal Product Manager role within Aerospace and Defense, reporting to the VP of Product Management, A&D, your responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps for MRO-related products aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
* Conducting market and competitive analyses specific to the MRO industry, identifying trends, customer needs, and building business cases for opportunities.
* Engaging with MRO customers, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure products meet or exceed expectations.
* Leveraging knowledge of Heavy Maintenance, Complex Assembly MRO, and Component MRO processes to inform product requirements.
* Collaborating with engineering and design teams to prioritize features and guide product development.
* Defining and monitoring KPIs to measure product success.
* Working with cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and enablement of product updates and roadmaps.
* Developing and implementing go-to-market strategies, including pricing and positioning for MRO products.
Qualifications
* A degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field; an MBA is a plus.
* 10+ years of relevant experience with increasing responsibilities, including experience in the A&D industry, working with airlines, MROs, or OEMs.
* Proven success in bringing complex MRO products from concept to deployment.
* Comprehensive understanding of MRO tools, processes, and regulatory requirements, interfacing with manufacturing and supply chain functions.
* Deep experience in managing influence and results through cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing with customers and senior leadership.
