Job Description
Financial Analysis & Reporting: * Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.* Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecasts, providing detailed explanations.* Produce and present financial reports to business unit managers, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Business Partnering: * Work closely with business units to understand their financial needs and challenges.* Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and strategies.* Assist business units in understanding financial performance, risks, and opportunities.* Support in the preparation of business cases for new projects or investments.* Cost Control & Efficiency:* Monitor and manage costs within assigned business units, ensuring alignment with budgets. Financial Planning: * Support the development of financial plans that align with business objectives.* Assist in long-term financial planning and scenario analysis.* Month-End & Year-End Processes:* Assist in month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.* Support year-end financial processes, including liaising with auditors and preparing financial statements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
3. Studying toward ACCA or CIMA
4. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
5. Proficiency in accounting software.
6. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
7. Good communication and leadership skills.
8. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
