We are partnered with an international leader in equipment rental and sales - with a huge focus on green power solutions, career growth and a hugely varied client base - it's an exciting time to join as a National BDM to develop existing accounts in M&E and win new business across all of the established divisions.
Key Responsibilities -
* Work collaboratively and creatively with the sales and account management teams to develop a solid commercial strategy that will deliver high ROI goals.
* Investigate and improve processes to improve capabilities, portfolio and growth.
* Win and develop a national portfolio to drive new business growth with an omnichannel approach.
* With a positive message in cost saving, increased safety and innovative solutions - drive a sales and marketing strategy to fully leverage the products and services of the business.
* Develop a team of trusted advisors and experts in the products, allowing them to credibly deliver solutions to customers.
* Utilise the marketing function to build campaigns and assets for new products and services.
* Map the market to find sectors that are currently underdeveloped and gain traction.
* Develop tools and benchmarks to control pricing, offer transparency and improve ROI.
* Build a proactive culture in cross-selling and maximise existing relationships.
To Be Successful -
* Extensive experience of low level access, pipe jointing equipment and equipment related to the sector, holding existing relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
* Solid working knowledge of telematics, access control and material handling.
* Account management experience with a natural hunter mentality.
* Flexibility to travel - covering London and the South of England.
* Experience in the hire model and its contracts/terms.
* Genuine team player.
* Naturally commercially minded.
* The ability to contribute to large tenders and bids.
* Highly resilient and confident.
* Diplomatic communication style.
* The gravitas to bring people on the journey with you.

In return, salary circa £50-65k DOE, company car, private healthcare and up to 50% bonus.
