A highly respected law firm in the Kent and Sussex region are seeking a motivated property litigation Solicitor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious solicitor with up to 4 years of post-qualification experience (NQ - 4 PQE) to further their career within a forward-thinking and well-established firm.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, acting for both companies and individuals with property interests. This will include advising commercial, residential, and mixed-use property owners and occupiers on a broad range of contentious property matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling landlord and tenant disputes, such as forfeiture and possession claims, contested lease renewals, dilapidations, service charge disputes, rent reviews, and breaches of covenant.
* Advising on real property disputes, including restrictive covenants, easements, and adverse possession claims.
* Managing development disputes, such as rights of light issues and disputes involving option agreements.
* Acting on behalf of clients in property insolvency matters, providing strategic guidance and dispute resolution services.
* Handling party wall appeals and related litigation.
The Ideal Candidate:
* NQ to 4 years PQE with proven experience in property litigation.
* Strong technical knowledge of property law, with a solid understanding of both landlord and tenant law and real property disputes.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
* A proactive approach and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
* A keen interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the team.
