You will design and deliver training programs and guide learners toward industry certifications while maintaining compliance through detailed documentation.Software Developer Skills Coach: About the Role Coach and mentor learners, monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback. Conduct tripartite coaching sessions with learners and employers to align learning plans with workplace needs. Assess and document learner progress in both skills and knowledge using various methods. Ensure high learner retention and timely completion of apprenticeship programs. Provide additional learning support and action plans where necessary. Design and deliver engaging classroom and blended learning (via Totara, Moodle, Mahara). Teach towards industry certifications and end-point assessments. Develop training aligned with relevant apprenticeship standards and employer needs. Build and maintain strong employer relationships, supporting workforce development. Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations (ISO9001, Cyber Essentials). Accurately document learning journeys and employer interactions.Software Developer Skills Coach: About you Degree (or equivalent) in IT, digital, or related technical field. Industry experience in tech and digital roles. Passion for continuous learning and emerging technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, GitHub Copilot). Strong coaching, teaching, and engagement skills. Excellent communication, organisation, and project management abilities. Ability to work flexibly across varied training programs and platforms. Level 2 English & Maths (GCSE C/4 or higher) Experience and knowledge of the apprenticeship sector. Instructional design / VLE skills.
