Bodmin are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Community Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team. The client offers a full-time contract with an opportunity, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio.The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.
Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist includes.
Experienced Community
Occupational Therapist needed with knowledge and clinical experience.
Moving and handling, specialist equipment, seating, minor and major adaptations.
Individual care plans to meet the assessed needs and to maximise independence in an efficient and sensitive way, offering choice were possible.
To assess for and organise the provision of necessary and appropriate minor adaptations, and carry out reviews of provision and safety checks as appropriateTo Be Successful.
Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.
Knowledge of a range of OT models and demonstrate being up to date with trends and developments in OT neurological rehab.
