Regional Sales Manager Opportunity
We’re looking for a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to identify new business opportunities in specialist vehicle supply and aftermarket support. This role focuses on expanding sales and hire of tractor units, trailers, and tow tractors across logistics, seaport, industrial, and aviation sectors. Strong emphasis on new business development with some account management.
Regional Sales Manager Duties
1. Identify and develop sales opportunities within target sectors.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
3. Promote aftersales services (parts & service) to drive customer retention.
4. Provide market insights and competitor analysis.
5. Manage quotes, hire requests, and orders.
6. Maintain accurate records in the company CRM system.
7. Work closely with regional service engineers to maximize opportunities.
8. Plan and manage territory activities efficiently.
Regional Sales Manager Skills/Experience Required
1. Proven new business sales experience in a similar role.
2. Industry or capital equipment sales/rental experience.
3. Previous new business into logistics, seaport, industrial, and aviation sectors.
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
5. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
6. UK driving licence and willingness to travel (some overnight stays required).
7. Territory planning expertise.
