Electrician – Full-Time | Central Belt FM Search & Select Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious client based in Glasgow, who is looking to add an experienced and professional Electrician to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who is eager to take on more responsibility, including the potential to step into a Qualified Supervisor (QS) role as the company works toward NICEIC accreditation. You’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working across a wide variety of commercial and residential properties throughout the Central Belt of Scotland. The role involves a mix of planned and reactive work, including installations, repairs, maintenance, and property upgrades. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and fault-finding to the highest standards. Work collaboratively with multi-skilled engineers across a range of property types. Support inspection, testing, and certification processes in line with NICEIC QS duties. Ensure full compliance with current electrical regulations (BS 7671). Maintain strong health and safety practices and follow company procedures. Deliver excellent customer service with clear communication and a professional approach. Travel to various sites across the Central Belt as required. Take part in the on-call rota (1 week in every 6–8 weeks). Essential Criteria Fully qualified time-served electrician with a recognised apprenticeship (SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3). 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification. At least 5 years of experience in a similar electrical role. Committed to ongoing development, including willingness to gain C&G 2391/2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing). Strong track record of delivering quality work with a customer-focused mindset. Full UK driving licence. Able to pass a Disclosure Scotland background check. Desirable Current NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status. Completed City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualifications.
