The successful candidate will ensure the preparation, review and reporting of accurate project schedules and plans in support of the robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.
You will be responsible for the development of project schedules and plans, ensuring they are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy and accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures, and standards and for identifying areas of best practise and driving continuous improvement within the Planning team.
You will support the management and development of the Planning team, the management of project schedules and plans, and the preparation and filing of project planning documentation.
Qualifications:
1. ISCED level 6 (Bachelors) Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience)
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
2. Relevant scheduling / planning experience
3. Knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software and related tools and techniques including Logic and CPM analysis, resource loading and levelling
4. Advanced knowledge of Project Execution Procedures for Scheduling
5. Understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities
6. Ability to develop project schedules and plans
7. Advanced ability to prepare resource loading, progress and staffing plans
8. Excellent understanding of earned value application, cost and schedule variance analyses / trending and what-if scenarios
9. Understanding of project management principles and techniques
10. Strong understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning & Risk Analysis & Management
11. Prior experience in a senior planning role
