An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 month secondment in Enfield's Community Mental Health Services for a senior nurse or allied health professional to work alongside the Clinical Lead Nurse and Community Service Managers to help us deliver our plans to transform our community mental health services, as part of the NHS Long Term Plan. The transformation of our community mental health services will lead to truly integrated health and social care for adults in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey who have serious mental illness.

Our transformation plans are supported by £25m in funding and will mean the roll-out over the next three years of multi-disciplinary teams of experts working within the new Primary Care Networks and offering wraparound, holistic care to our service users and wider community. Our aim is to support the whole person as they live with, or recover from, mental illness and to offer them support with other challenges they may face, such as debt, relationship problems, housing, education or training. We will also focus resources on reaching those who currently face obstacles in getting the help they need.
Main duties of the job
* The Practice Development Lead is a facilitative role, supporting the delivery of the Trusts Community Mental Health Transformation Programme to ensure all clients have a named key-worker and make services sustainable into the future.
* This role will support the development and retention of the new multi-agency teams of NHS, social care and voluntary sector experts to provide holistic care and support and contribute to empowering teams improve mental health and wellbeing for everyone in their community.
* This role will working closely with integrated community teams, develop and embed changes in clinical practice and operational to develop and embed new ways of working and new clinical pathways, e.g. Embedded voluntary care sector roles, improved access to mental health services, etc
* You will facilitate change programmes in Enfield Community multidisciplinary teams and work across health, social care and voluntary sector provision utilising service user feedback to embed a change in culture and perspective.
* Interpret and integrate data from a variety of sources including conversations around trauma, collaborative dialogue with clients, their families and carers, and/or others involved in the client’s wider wellbeing (social workers/ GPs for example).
* Support the use of methods based upon evidence of efficacy, across the range of service models, for example psychosocial-education and direct trauma informed practice, such as Open Dialogue, Dialogue Plus, Systemic thinking.

In order to meet the needs of the new Partnership services you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Enfield and Harringay Trust and Camden and Islington Trust. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.

Education and Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Registered professional with evidence of working at a senior level within the NHS.
* Multidisciplinary Practice qualification
* Masters Level qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
* Qualifications/ training in specialist skills e.g. Trauma Informed approaches
* Qualified registered supervisor
* Open Dialogue trained and evidence of application
* Psychodynamic training based qualification
Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
* Experience of working for three years plus post qualification.
* Experience of working in a diverse community, including working with interpreters
* Experience of working with voluntary sector providers
* Additional transferable experience working with young people and families with complex and transgenerational needs and/or organizational knowledge and skills acquired through formal training, long or short courses, formal supervision (individual and/or group), structured self-study, or experience – or a combination of these – to an appropriate level demonstrated by certification, documented supervision logs, management appraisal documentation and/or assessment at interview
* Experience and training of trauma informed practices.
* Evidence of successful team management training, leadership and delivery.
* Excellent communication and embedded managerial experience.
