The company operate on a hybrid working structure with a minimum 2 days per week in the office. There is a great deal of flexibility on offer surrounding the working hours and hybrid where additional WFH days can be arranged as well as flexi-time.
The Role:
This new position has come about due to internal growth creating a gap in the client’s internal structure. Looking for a Finance Manager to join them on a full-time and permanent basis with strong Team Leadership experience and people management skills. The Finance Manager will plan, organise and take charge of all the financial activities of the business and its subsidiaries.
The successful candidate will assist in delivering all aspects of accounting for the Groups sub-ledgers, as well as assisting where required in monthly management accounts, stat accounts and other regulatory reporting requirements. You will:
* Have daily management of 2+ direct reports within the Finance Team. You are expected to manage and monitor the workflow of these staff to ensure task completion and standard.
* You will facilitate the running of the group subsidiary companies which will include accruals, payroll, AR & payable ledgers.
* Oversee the financial planning process.
* KPI creation for your team
* Contribute to the external auditor process and liaise with auditors.
* Ensure the timely completion & submission of all tax returns.
* Produce accurate financial reports.
The Candidate:
To be considered for this role, there are a few essential & preferred skills / experiences you will have:
* Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ICAS etc – study support available (essential)
* Strong Team Management skills and experience with the aim of developing and growing the current finance team. (essential)
* Commercial & Business Awareness (essential)
* Strong attention to detail
* Problem-solving skills
* Experience of working through external audit processes
* Advanced knowledge of MS packages
* Ability to work as a team and build strong relationships.
* Experience in a similar industry (preferred)
Salary: £45000 – £55000
Location: Hybrid – 2/3 Split + flexibility
