We are looking for a Fire Risk Assessor/Senior Fire Risk Assessor to join our Project Management Consultancy client, to conduct fire risk assessments across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, leveraging cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform fire risk assessments and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
2. Collaborate with clients to coordinate inspections and remedial works.
3. Provide advice on building regulations and fire safety matters.
4. Prepare schedules, specifications, and oversee work progress.
5. Audit Fire Risk Assessors and validate assessments.
Requirements
1. Expertise in fire safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) and technical standards, as well as a full understanding of current fire safety issues, trends, and best practices.
2. Minimum Level 4 or 5 qualification in fire risk management/assessment or fire engineering.
3. Completion of an IFE-approved fire risk assessment course.
4. Registered Fire Risk Assessor via IFE, FRACS, or IFSM (Tier 3 or higher).
5. Experience as a Validator under the BAFE SP205-1 Scheme.
6. Proven track record in fire risk assessment across various premises.
7. Full driving license.
8. Willing to travel to sites around Birmingham and surrounding areas.
