A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a versatile individual, on either a full-time or part-time basis, working as an Accounts Assistant with Archerdale Ltd.
* Based in Saltaire, Bradford, Archerdale is a successful business, established for nearly 40 years.
* Working with a small, friendly team, this opportunity offers full-time hours, with a lunchtime finish every other Friday. (Part-time hours will also be considered, with 27.5 hours per week as a minimum).
* Rate of pay at £13.00 per hour.

As a key part of our growing team, your role will be to assist the Accounting Manager in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions, dealing with external customers and suppliers, ensuring all accounts and payments are up to date, as well as carrying out general office administration duties and processing sales order. As such, you will be:
Experienced with Sage systems (sage 50) Proficient in all Microsoft office products, particularly excel

Reporting into the Accounting Manager, key responsibilities will include:
* Processing payments, updating financial records and managing invoices
* Bank reconciliations
* Reconciliation of supplier accounts
* Ensure that regulatory guidelines and company procedures are followed
* Use Sage and other Company software as required
* Collect, enter and manipulate data for various financial spreadsheets
* Completing various business administration activities
* Processing sales orders and other administrative support
* Maintaining and developing appropriate filing systems
* Producing correspondence, reports, presentations, and records as required by the management team
* General office management; ordering stationery, equipment, managing post, travel bookings and scanning
* Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
