Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people? In this role, you’ll work closely with families to assess and address occupational therapy needs within home settings. You’ll support children and young people with a range of needs, from hospital discharge planning and home adaptations (including Disabled Facilities Grant funding) to equipment provision, housing concerns, safety assessments, and manual handling. Your expertise will help create accessible environments that promote independence. Whether sourcing specialist equipment, supporting families through the DFG application process, or contributing to Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) reports, you’ll ensure that every child’s voice—and their family’s perspective—shapes the interventions you deliver. About You We’re looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (HCPC-registered) with: ✅ Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) ✅ Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation for disabled children and their families ✅ Expertise in clinical assessments for children aged 0-18 ✅ A collaborative approach to working with families, housing teams, health professionals, and schools ✅ The ability to navigate and support applications for Disabled Facilities Grants Why Join Us?
