INTRODUCTION
Our client is a market-leading UK manufacturer with an enviable reputation for product quality and brand recognition. They now require an Account Manager with strong analytical skills to drive growth across high spend accounts.
LOCATION
Midlands sales region (remote)
Ideal home locations would be West Midlands, East Midlands, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Coventry, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Stafford, Cambridge, Peterborough, or close.
THE JOB ROLE
The Account Manager role is a home and field-based sales role selling into established and new high value B2B customers.
1. Selling a range of award-winning branded mid- to high-end products into high spend accounts.
2. Developing existing relationships, identifying growth potential, creating and executing effective sales growth plans.
3. Utilising extensive data to underpin decision-making (sales, margin, historical customer performance etc).
4. Track growing and relevant new business target accounts.
5. Bring sales and customer insight to team strategy meetings to drive continual improvement.
THE PERSON NEEDED
For the Account Manager role all sector experience will be considered. Our client is looking for a successful track record of B2B field sales, along with:
1. Prior experience selling into a quality product, brand or service into a competitive market sector.
2. Experience using data and insights to underpin sales decision-making and analysis.
3. Self-motivation and resilience, coupled with an organised and positive mindset.
4. Career ambition and a drive to learn, grow and personally develop.
