Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Aylesbury, Didcot, Wallingford, Reading

Salary: upto £47,000 - £52,000 + Benefits + Hybrid working, Car owner

Evolve Recruitment are seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Management Accountant with stable experience to join an established, dynamic company. The role will be varied and challenging; the successful candidate will be responsible for the ownership of the Management Accounting, Financial Reporting and controls of a Group of companies. This will include analysing and communicating results, assisting in statutory and tax accounting, and preparing and supporting the Group’s Quarterly Strategic Review process (forecasting / Budgeting). In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Finance to drive the Group Portfolio forward, whilst being offered opportunities to develop and grow within the organisation. You will have experience of double entry journals, IFRS and work in a highly dependent nature and in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Produce timely and reliable monthly management accounts to tight deadlines.
2. Identify and investigate variances against benchmarks, provide analysis of differences, and explore potential problems with non-financial department heads.
3. Take the lead on various projects, including process and system improvements.
