Job Purpose:
Responsible for Electrical, Mechanical and Building maintenance services. What you'll do:
1. Ensuring all Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed to schedule
2. Rectification of defects, ensuring all performance standards are met in accordance with the contract
3. Carry out routine maintenance work associated with all electrical and mechanical systems
4. Supervise specialist contractors and ensure all certification / documentation is filed accordingly
5. Monitor and log Lighting levels, temperatures, throughout and ensure the availability criteria is met in accordance with the contract
6. Ensure full compliance of the companies Safety Rules
7. Support the Account Manager in all aspects of Compliance
8. Respond to requests made via the “Help Desk”
9. Maintain the C.O.S.H.H. register and maintain the storage of materials.
10. Carry out task related “Risk Assessments” and maintain the records
11. Direct all non-compliance issues to the Account Manager.
12. Ensure compliance with Environmental and Health & Safety standards
13. Control of good housekeeping and good working practices
14. Comply with all company procedures
Who you'll be:
15. City and Guilds Mechanical / Electrical Engineering qualification
16. Proven experience of M & E maintenance
17. Preparation and operation of planned maintenance
18. Ability to liaise and supervise contractors
19. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practices
20. Be part of a “Call Out” rota arrangement
21. Assist with the upkeep of plant maintenance records
22. Assist with the completion of Work Control Permits for sub-contractors
23. Assist with the implementation and application of safe working systems.
