BPAS is an independent healthcare charity that has been advocating and caring for women and couples for over 55 years, supporting over 100,000 women annually across more than 50 healthcare clinics nationwide.
Following significant organisational change and the establishment of a new Executive Leadership structure, we are looking for a Head of Organisational Development to join the Senior Operational Team.
In this role, you will work closely with leaders and managers to develop the culture, behaviours, and capabilities needed to achieve BPAS's strategic workforce development and wellbeing objectives. You will focus on building strong, trusted relationships and creating a space for authentic conversations that lead to meaningful organisational development (OD) solutions. These solutions will drive sustainable cultural change and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Additionally, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the OD team, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing programmes that foster employee development, leadership, and organisational change.
Working from home with travel required to our Head Office in Leamington Spa and BPAS units when required. This is for 36 hours per week over Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
* Design and deliver the BPAS OD agenda and other organisational development strategies and plans.
* Lead the design, procurement, and delivery of organisational development interventions including diagnostic tools, team building, and learning programmes.
* Contribute to the strategic development and leadership of OD across the organisation; working collaboratively with leaders and people managers to achieve changes that reflect BPAS's vision and values.
* Determine, monitor, and evaluate metrics and data to ensure OD initiatives and activities deliver value for money.
* Develop and implement an organisation-wide approach to talent management, succession planning, and career progression working closely with key partners.
* Promote and deliver a strong and compassionate leadership culture across the OD team.
* Act as a role model for transformational leadership demonstrating expertise and maintaining credibility within the team, organisation and with external stakeholders.
About You
You'll be a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in organisational development and have extensive experience operating at a senior leadership level. Your expertise in designing and delivering impactful OD programmes, coupled with your ability to use data-driven insights to enhance organisational effectiveness, will be key to your success. We're looking for an articulate communicator with strong analytical skills, capable of building credibility and fostering collaboration.

Further Information:
Location: Hybrid - home working with travel required to Head Office in Leamington Spa and other BPAS units as required.
Salary: Approximate £65,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
Hours: 36 per week Monday to Friday.
All members of the Senior Operating Team will be required to participate in an on-call rota. The On-Call policy and procedure is being reviewed and revised; however, it is envisaged that participation will involve being available to receive emergency/on-call telephone calls up to 9pm Monday to Friday and on Saturdays and Sundays approximately 4 times per year.

Skills and Experience
* Experience of operating as part of a senior leadership team, with a demonstrated ability to understand and engage in strategy development and execution, and understanding of business operating models, as well as building confidence and credibility at that level.
* Experience of using people data and metrics insights to improve the effectiveness of an organisation.
* Ability to think objectively, exercise sound judgment and understand a range of factors, issues, and stakeholder views in developing the most impactful OD solution.
* Strong analytical skills, confident in the analysis and (written and verbal) presentation of behavioural insights.
