What you will do… Our Functional Analysts are responsible for the resolution of incidents and implementation of small configuration changes. You will also work closely with the Senior members of the team on more complex pieces of work. You can expect to employ and enhance many of your skills such as: Problem Solving: Analyse and investigate incidents using all tools available. Support: Use your Fusion knowledge to add value to solutions or fixes wherever possible. Help support improvements in efficiencies in the team, and elsewhere. Escalation of issues as appropriate. Follow best practice, ensuring compliance and governance is adhered to. Collaboration: Work closely with the broader team providing support to all aspects of work relating to Fusion where required. Work with our Business Analysts to ensure requirements are successfully. Work with our Customers to ensure that we are delivering the best quality service to support the people of Lancashire. Who you will work with… The Oracle Fusion Team sits within the Applications Operations Centre, where we are responsible for the 3 rd line support of Software Systems at Lancashire County Council and its partner organisations. The Oracle Fusion Team focusses on the successful delivery and support of the Fusion platform and its related technologies. We are a very supportive and close-knit team and encourage an environment of psychological safety where members of the team are encouraged to put forward ideas, suggest new ways of working, or learn about other technologies the team support. We are a process-driven organisation aligning to ITIL methodologies, and previous experience of IT Service Management is desirable. What we are looking for… An experienced professional: As a valued member of the team, you should have experience of working with Oracle Fusion either technically or functionally. You should be able to think analytically and demonstrate a logical approach to problem-solving. A team player: You will need excellent communication skills to engage and involve other SMEs within Digital Services. You should be able to form close working relationships with stakeholders such as Business Analysts, Project Managers, Customers, and our Assurance and Quality Control Teams. You should be articulate, open minded, confident, and able to communicate your audience. A commitment to customer satisfaction: Our customers are key to our organisation, and you should demonstrate a history of building strong customer relationships. You will be working with a variety of people at all management levels, and you should be able to present a professional image that reflects the values of Digital Services and Lancashire County Council. An ability to manage yourself: You will manage your work stack independently utilising the tools at your disposal, whilst keeping the key stakeholders up to date on your progress.
