EIAT is a thriving Multi Academy Trust (MAT) in North Birmingham incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Mayfield School, Queensbury School, The Hive College, Lime Tree Nursery and Blue Sky Nursery. The role will play a fundamental part in the development of our estate in terms of improving the environments for our students and staff, as well as ongoing maintenance and compliance with all relevant legislation. You will be part of a new Trust team, led by the Trust Estates and Environment Leader. This role will be primarily based at Mayfield School, B19 1HJ but there will be opportunities to work together as a Trust-wide team to find inventive solutions and to share ideas. The ideal candidate for this role will:
•Have experience of working in a site role;
•Have an excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation along with practical experience of ensuring compliance;
•Have a proactive approach and to be able to prioritise and address issues identified;
•Be an excellent team player and able to work with a range of staff colleagues; and
•Have a commitment to working with students with SEND and an appreciation of how important the right environment is for them to flourish.
•A clean driving licence is advantageous as there will be travel between our sites.
