Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker in Schools

Axcis Education, on behalf of a reputable school in the Wirral area, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join their team. The school boasts great transport links and holds an Ofsted rating of 'Good.'
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide individualized support to students with mental health needs.
2. Foster a safe and supportive environment conducive to the emotional well-being of students.
3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to implement tailored support strategies.
4. Support the social and emotional development of students through various therapeutic interventions.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and intervention strategies.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in a similar role, particularly within an educational setting.
2. A genuine passion for supporting the mental health and well-being of students.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
5. Understanding of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health in schools.
Qualifications:
1. Relevant qualifications in mental health support or counselling.
2. Enhanced DBS clearance.
