Finance Placement Student

We are recruiting for a Finance Placement Student to join our Finance team!
Working alongside the wider Finance Team, this role will help to ensure financial information is accurate, money is saved, wastage is reduced and payments both in and out are without error
About The Role
Role Summary
* Work alongside the commercial and procurement function to gather timely and accurate information
* Support the operational team to reconcile client payments and accurately record them in our systems
* Communicate both with suppliers and directly with clients in relation to financial transactions
* Provide accurate information to the Group Financial Controller, Finance Manager and CFO
* Reconcile management information data
* Assist the Accounts Payable team with invoice and payment processing and supplier statement reconciliations
* Sales ledger and credit control
* Subcontractor ledger and related returns
* Credit card transaction processing and statement reconciliation
* Recording and reconciling expenses and petty cash management;
* Bank reconciliations
* Intercompany transaction processing and reconciliation
* Accruals and prepayments and other balance sheet reconciliations
* General purchase ledger and accounts receivable queries
* Other ad hoc Finance admin duties
