We are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the leading local Financial Planning businesses in the Surrey and Southwest London area, and are currently helping them recruit an experienced Senior Financial Planning Administrator who can also carry out some basic paraplanning duties (reporting etc). This role is a great opportunity to work with this well run, professional IFA practice, who has an excellent record as both an employer and as a provider of conscientious, ethical and holistic advice on wealth management services. They are looking to employ a Wealth Planning Administrator who has previous experience of working within an IFA Practice or within the wider world of Wealth Management and who would like to pursue a long a rewarding career as an Independent Financial Advisor in the longer term. This particular firm offers the fairly unique opportunity of working with clients who have been referred to the business from firms specialising in law and accountancy services, dealing with people who are trying to navigate a particularly financial management planning projects, or helping them plan for financial stability after the loss of a family member and intergenerational estate planning. Unusually for an IFA Administrator, you will be expected to build, nurture and maintain personal working relationships directly with your clients, whilst simultaneously working towards building your own long term career in wealth management. The role: Your role will be to handle the Financial Administration behind pensions, investments and other financial services products and services, as well as communicating with clients, preparing reports for client review meetings and other ad hoc tasks associated with the role. About you and your experience: This is very progressive Financial Planning Administrative role and as such it requires explicit experience of previous work in a Wealth Management Practice so ideally you will have had some experience of working in an administrative role within a wealth management or IFA practice previously and have a good grasp and understanding of the workings of a financial advisor's role. You may also have taken steps towards getting your Diploma in Financial Planning or have a keen desire to do so. The role has the added advantage of offering real career progression, the next steps would be to start learning the duties of a Paraplanning, when you feel ready for the challenge. Full on the job training and support will be provided, along with flexible hybrid working. If you are interested in discussing this role further, or would like to know about other opportunities we are working on, please contact me with a copy of your CV and a time when it is convenient for me to call you.
