What you’ll be doing
As the Management Accountant working in the Experience & Transformation (ET) division of CACI Limited, you will be a working within a high performing team that supports an established multi-million-pound business. This is an exciting role which involves working closely with key stakeholders, both within the finance team and the wider business, and being responsible for the day-to-day operational and finance activities within the group.
The role reports to the ET Financial Controller, and the role will act as a liaison point with stakeholders across all areas of the business including Sales, Project Delivery and Central Finance.
Key responsibilities
1. Primary responsibility will be providing support to the ET management accounts team, including:
2. Revenue accounting
3. Learn and apply revenue recognition rules
4. Review new contracts and assist with the monthly booking and reconciliation of revenue
5. Ensure the department complies with specified controls for Sarbanes-Oxley purposes
6. Control of unbilled revenue accounts
7. Monthly reconciliation of control accounts
8. Review and follow up unbilled balances by project, liaise with sales teams and report to the finance management team
9. Balance sheet reconciliations including ensuring accruals & prepayments are correctly accounted for
10. Preparing monthly flash forecast, variance analysis and annual budget
11. Posting timesheets and ensuring business units complete these in a timely manner
12. Other responsibilities
13. Finance operations support including setup of contracts in the finance system
14. Liaising with internal and external auditors
15. Sales commission preparation based on monthly sales report
16. Other ad-hoc duties as required
Who you are
We are looking for a Part Qualified Accountant with strong educational background, excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a Services or Software company.
Above all, candidates must demonstrate the following:
17. Methodical and organised approach to work
18. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel to Intermediate level ( vlookups, pivot tables, data sorting and filtering, conditional formatting)
19. Good communication skills to help build a collaborative relationship with the BU Management team
20. Ability to analyse written and numerical information and a keen eye for detail
21. Used to working to strict deadlines and able to work hours necessary to get job done
22. Candidate with experience of NetSuite and US GAAP (revenue accounting) would be helpful but not essential
Where will you be working:
This is a hybrid role, working from our West Kensington office 3 days a week.
