OutThere are supporting our client to recruit a Full Time or Part Time Finance Coordinator based in Portsmouth, to join their small and personable team of 10. You will be a pillar of financial excellence, ensuring the company stays on a solid financial footing. This will be achieved through analysing market trends, mitigating financial risks, and safeguarding the company assets and long term stability. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Maintain financial records and files, ensuring they are up-to-date and organised. Perform reconciliations of bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including tracking payments and managing outstanding invoices. Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation and reports. Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly performance reports. Liaise with various departments to resolve financial discrepancies and provide financial insights. Utilise financial software to enter data accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely reporting. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and best practices to maintain compliance. Requirements Proven experience as a Finance Coordinator, Bookkeeper, or similar role. Strong understanding of financial principles and practices. Must have experience using SAGE Accounting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. AAT qualified.
