Role overview The Business Development Representative will help support the Growth team at Williams Commerce. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, has strong communication skills, and is eager to contribute to the sales process. You will be reporting to the Chief Client Officer, the Business Development Representative will ensure the smooth operation of the Growth department by handling administrative tasks, coordinating with other departments, and assisting in customer interactions. This is a hybrid role (1/2 days working from our Leicester office and 3 days remotely) As a Business Development Representative at Williams Commerce, you will: Assist the Growth team with daily administrative tasks, including preparing quotes, processing contracts, and managing sales documentation. Coordinate with other departments, such as finance and delivery management, to ensure seamless execution of sales contracts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and contract details in the CRM system (Hubspot). Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels, providing information and assistance as needed, and scheduling follow-up meetings for the Growth team, ensuring effective time management. Monitor and track sales performance metrics, helping to identify trends and areas for improvement. Contribute to the development and implementation of improved sales processes and procedures. Y ou will bring: Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role in a digital or e-commerce environment. Proficiency with CRM systems such as Hubspot, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail. Great verbal and written correspondence skills.
