The shift pattern is Mon/Tues 8-12 and Thurs/Fri 1-5.
We are recruiting for a Patient Service Advisor who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
The successful post holder will be expected to act as the first point of contact for our patients and relatives, dealing with enquiries over the telephone and face to face.
As a Patient Service Advisor, the ability to multi-task during busy periods is essential, as is a friendly and helpful nature with the ability to adhere to Trust's strict confidentiality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all relevant case notes are available at the start of the clinic.
2. Book in Patients for clinics held in allocated work area for each shift.
3. Confirm with Patient and update demographic information on relevant booking system.
4. Answer enquiries from either members of the public or staff, whether by telephone or in person.
5. For outpatient clinics, update PAS system with RTT outcome and procedure codes for each patient.
6. Book interpreters as required following Trust process.
7. Make follow-up appointments as required.
8. Provide cover during periods of absence.
