Job Description:
Are you an aspiring Education Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or mental health support worker? This role is set to start in September.
Does catering for children with special educational and emotional needs appeal to you? Are you a graduate or about to graduate, looking to gain experience with students with special needs?
We are seeking a School Mental Health Assistant to work within a SEND School in Bletchley. The school is particularly interested in Psychology and Criminology graduates who are aspiring Education Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, or Occupational Therapists.
If you are passionate about working with children with additional needs and are ready for an exciting, challenging, yet rewarding role, this could be the job for you! Some experience working with children in various settings would be beneficial, but personality and motivation within this field are just as important.
The pupils have diverse needs, including Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Autism, and behavioral difficulties. Therefore, the school is looking for committed individuals who want to work there for at least 12 months, as consistency of staff is vital for the children’s progression.
Interviews are actively taking place, so please apply immediately if you are interested. These support roles are ideal for individuals looking for a support role within the education sector and will be perfect for anyone seeking a role as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
