IAC Package Manager required for a major offshore wind developer based in Scotland Responsibilities Oversee the full lifecycle of the Inter Array Cable package, from design to commissioning. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project objectives. Manage the design, routing, and technical specifications of inter-array cables in collaboration with engineering teams. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, certifications, and technical guidelines. Review and approve design documents, installation procedures, and quality plans. Lead the procurement process for inter-array cable manufacturing, installation, and ancillary services. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring clarity in terms, conditions, and deliverables. Monitor contractor performance and resolve disputes or issues as they arise. Plan and oversee offshore installation campaigns, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and operational procedures. Monitor progress during offshore activities, addressing any technical or logistical challenges. Ensure successful commissioning of inter-array cables, coordinating with grid and electrical teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for IAC-related matters, liaising with project teams, contractors, and regulators. Provide regular updates to senior management on package progress, risks, and mitigation measures. Collaborate with other package managers (e.g., foundation, turbine, export cable) to ensure seamless integration. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to reduce project risks.Requirements Degree qualified e.g. B.SC / M.Sc. in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical engineering Additional business administration or commercial qualification (desirable) Certified project management professional (desirable) Strong project management skills, including familiarity with PM tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project. Technical expertise in subsea cables, HV/MV electrical systems, and offshore installation techniques. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Knowledge of relevant standards, such as IEC, DNV-GL, or ISO. Extensive experience managing large scale and complex projects from a relevant industry such as wind power, power generation, or similar Solid commercial understanding and business acumen Knowledge of MS Office systems Willingness to travel and spend time offshore as required. Valid offshore certifications (e.g., GWO, BOSIET) are a plus
