Job Title: Head of Chemistry
Reporting to: Head of Science
Tenure: Full time, 37.5 hours
Salary: UCST Scale
Start Date: Ideally September 2024
Application Deadline: 8 May 2024
Interview Date: Week commencing 13 May 2024
The Role
The Head of Chemistry will help provide leadership and management of the Chemistry department across all key stages. They will be required to teach up to and including A level to promote pupils’ engagement with the subject both within the curriculum and beyond.
The Head of Chemistry will lead, monitor and develop all aspects of Chemistry teaching throughout the school and will have the ability to inspire and support pupils to achieve their best through GCSE and encourage their uptake to A level.
