Group Accountant – International Business Location: outskirts of Chelmsford - onsite 5 days Salary: Competitive, with benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Group Accountant to join a dynamic and growing international business. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting global financial operations and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, including a strong focus on US tax compliance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Oversee US federal, state, and local tax compliance, including corporate tax returns and optimization of the group’s tax position. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports. Ensure robust internal controls and lead process improvements within the finance function. Act as a key liaison with external auditors and advisors, ensuring smooth communication and reporting.Key Requirements: ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification (or equivalent). Proven experience in group accounting and consolidation within an international business. Strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and US corporate tax compliance. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills; ERP experience is advantageous. Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Why Apply?
